VCS Members

Changes, Changes
We have been introduced to the world of Google and how it might apply to our club beginning with a generic Club account.  This account will also give us some other features that can be introduced including a BLOG, club documents such as the constitution, membership application forms, document storage for our meetings, newsletter, photos and more.  There is the capability to have several mailing lists for targeted mailing (honourary members, members, current executive, etc).  The best part, easy to use and free.

As of June 1, all email addresses and phone numbers of all VSC members will be removed from the website.  If you wish to have them included, please contact the Secretary.

Our NEW Google account and VSC (general) contact email:  victoriasketchclub@gmail.com

Christine Gollner's 'One-of-a-Kind' Painting Project
Christine Gollner was invited by Barbara Adams, Arts laureate for Oak Bay, to paint a piano, to be used OUTDOORS in Oak Bay. A delightfully creative project! Christine has spent many hours creating this amazing piece of Art (arbutus trees, Gary oak, seascape, cougar, gull, raven, deer, otter, etc.).
Did you notice the orca, camas, tiger slug and Mt Rainier?
The piano will be placed at Turkey Head (Oak Bay Marina), on June 14.
You did an outstanding job, Christine! A MASTER PIECE!!!

We enjoyed having Sandra Kurvers come and visit us.

On May 22, we painted and sketched at the Oak Bay Marina, Turkey Head. Several visitors joined us (Avy, Laura and Sandra).
